Downloadable teacher support materials are available for purchase separately as a unique 16-character code. Once purchased the resources can be downloaded through a Cambridge GO teacher account and stored on your school network.

The Teacher Resource Package can be accessed via Cambridge GO, using the enclosed 16-character access code. The code may be activated once only in one unique teacher account. Downloaded materials may be placed on your school network for use by other teachers at your school and are available through Cambridge GO for a period 5 years after activation.

The Interactive Textbook and Offline/PDF Textbook are not included in the Teacher Resource Package. These are available via the access code on the inside of your teacher copy of the student book or available for purchase separately from our online store or your Education bookseller.

David Greenwood

David Greenwood is the Head of Mathematics at Trinity Grammar School in Melbourne and has 30+ years teaching mathematics from Year 7 to 12. He is the lead author for the Cambridge Essential series and has authored more than 80 titles for the Australian Curriculum and for the syllabuses of the states and territories. He specialises in analysing curriculum and the sequencing of course content for school mathematics courses. He also has an interest in the use of technology for the teaching of mathematics.

Jennifer Vaughan

Jennifer Vaughan has taught secondary mathematics for over 30 years in New South Wales, Western Australia, Queensland and New Zealand and has tutored and lectured in mathematics at Queensland University of Technology. She is passionate about providing students of all ability levels with opportunities to understand and to have success in using mathematics. She has extensive experience in developing resources that make mathematical concepts more accessible, to develop student confidence, achievement and an enjoyment of maths.

Bryn Humberstone

Bryn Humberstone graduated from the University of Melbourne with an Honours degree in Pure Mathematics, and has 20+ years' experience teaching secondary school mathematics. He has been a Head of Mathematics since 2014 at two independent schools in Victoria. Bryn is passionate about applying the science of learning to teaching and curriculum design, to maximise the chances of student success.

Beth Godwin
Beth is the author of a number of Cambridge University Press titles. She has extensive teaching experience with students with specific learning needs. She has presented seminars and workshops to educators on topics including differentiating the curriculum, behaviour management and developing literacy skills. At the time of publication she was the principal of Cabramatta High School in NSW, Beth has experience in ensuring that the curriculum is accessible to all students.
Jenny Goodman

Jenny Goodman has taught in schools for over 28 years and is currently teaching at a selective high school in Sydney. Jenny has an interest in the importance of literacy in mathematics education, and in teaching students of differing ability levels. She was awarded the Jones Medal for education at Sydney University and the Bourke Prize for Mathematics. She has written for CambridgeMATHS NSW and was involved in the Spectrum and Spectrum Gold series.

Stuart Palmer

Stuart Palmer is a fully qualified high school mathematics teacher with more than 25 years’ experience teaching students from all walks of life in a variety of schools. He has been Head of Mathematics in two schools. He is very well known by teachers throughout the state for the professional learning workshops he delivers. Stuart also assists thousands of Year 12 students every year as they prepare for their HSC Examinations. At the University of Sydney, Stuart spent more than a decade running tutorials for pre-service mathematics teachers.

Karen McDaid

Karen McDaid has more that 17 years’ experience teaching mathematics in several primary and secondary schools, and as a lecturer teaching mathematics to primary preservice teachers at Western Sydney University. Karen was the Professional Teachers Association representative on the NSW Board Curriculum Committee during the development and consultation phases of both the Australian Curriculum and the NSW Mathematics K-10 Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum. She has been active on the executive committee of the Mathematical Association of NSW since 2003 and was the NSW Councillor on the board of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers from 2014 to 2018. Karen co-authored the CambridgeMATHS NSW GOLD books Years 7 to 10. Karen is currently Head of Mathematics K to 12 at Cluey Learning.

Margaret Powell
Margaret has has twenty-three years of experience in teaching special needs students in Sydney and London. She has been head teacher of the support unit at a NSW comprehensive high school for twelve years. She is passionate about ensuring that students with learning difficulties achieve in their academic careers by providing learning materials that are engaging and accessible.
